How to correct, dispute, or remove your listing

PJ Cafe lists cafe businesses in Petaling Jaya independently. Every listing comes from publicly available business information, and every score is calculated from public Google reviews with the same published rubric (ranking method). A listing cannot be bought, and a score cannot be paid for. If something on your listing is wrong, here is how to get it corrected.

Request a correction

Wrong phone number, outdated hours, an old address, services you no longer offer: send us the correct detail plus something we can verify it against, like your website or your Google Business Profile. Verified corrections are applied to the site and pinned so future data refreshes do not overwrite them.

Challenge your score or listing

Scores and review summaries are produced by one rubric run against public Google reviews, with no manual overrides. A valid dispute points at incorrect data: a mismatched profile, reviews attributed to the wrong business, or a summary that misstates what reviewers said. Show us the problem and we will re-check the sources and regenerate the listing.

Removal requests

Permanently closed, duplicated, or out-of-scope listings are removed. The monthly re-verification cycle removes closed businesses on its own as well. We may keep an accurate, in-scope listing published, since it is built from public information, but you will always get a straight answer about the decision.

Response times

We acknowledge every correction, dispute, and removal request within 5 business days. Confirmed removals (a closed business, a duplicate, or a listing outside our scope) are actioned within 7 days. If we decline a request, we explain why.
